Innovation: how can we make a machine attentive? We’ve done it!
There are many theories in cognitive psychology that explain the mental activity of attention. It is a mechanism that is activated when decoding a stimulus and is based on a combination of neurophysiological and cognitive processes with the intention of retaining information that makes sense in a given context and rejecting, or forgetting, the part of the information that does not. This rejected information is considered to be informational noise, and it is this noise that we will analyse in order to enable the machine to enrich its knowledge with unknown but repetitive information in a given analysis context, or to consider it as something to be forgotten and be able to remove it from the data to be processed as early as the acquisition phase in order to lighten the information processing load, be faster and consume fewer machine resources.
This new service will be available in version 5.20 of Percipion, which will be available in a few weeks!
One more step towards a machine capable of processing information in a more natural way!
